  1. I didn’t realise that the ASA had the jurisdiction to deal with Tik Tok (and presumably YouTube?)

My question is why isn’t it dealing with the rest of the fraudulent ads that I get bombarded with?

  2. TikTok data mines your phone and also doesnt care about copyright law as to why you can use any ‘sounds’ without permission. Because China, so fk you.

Its also mostly a funnel for OnlyFans.

But sure, an advert is offensive.

Can the perpetually offended actually spend their energy solving real injustice first and then wrap up these kind of things later?

  3. To be fair that is pretty sexist.. but who are Match trying to appeal to?

Probably their core demographic is men aged 45+ who would love a new servant.

  4. Hilarious stuff like this gets banned but there was an Itv drama vs reality advert that ran for ages that showed a man tied up in a woman’s cupboard

  5. Quite disturbing to think there are people getting their ethical guidelines from TikTok, or rather there are people who believe others are getting their morality from a short form video sharing app.
