We should all stop paying.
The worst they can seemingly do is reduce your water pressure & a lot of areas already have the pressure reduced to minimise leakage.
The only effective protest is one that stops the profit dead.
And this is the kind of shit that pisses me off, no pun intended.
As someone who has lived in Cornwall their entire life, seeing this like this, the county being left to just suffer through shit like this is awful. Especially considering that sewage is going to flow along the river Fowey, which as someone who has lived in fowey for 3-4 years now, I know is an area incredibly vulnerable to flooding.
Funny how, with exactly the same infrastructure the water companies didn’t do this nearly as regularly when we were in the EU. Maybe because the EU wouldn’t swallow the ’emergency measure’ line as easily as our government currently does.
Be a real shame if someone filled hessian sacks with postcrete and wedged 3-4 of them in there, a real shame.
