  4. I expected them to last not more than 18 months (I thought the government will fall before the European elections) but if this is the beginning they will last 18 weeks.

  5. Now I’m usually very very wary of being a conspiracy theorist and I avoid believing wild ideas when the simple and obvious explanation is right there, **but…**

    I’m not so sure that this wasn’t done on purpose by Berlusconi;
    first of all why in the world would anyone write something like this? Is he doing the pros & cons thing like Ross from Friends? It doesn’t make much sense to write something like this down on a piece of paper.

    Also, the way he acted in the whole situation, being very theatrical and dramatic with his movements… not to mention the very large writing which makes it extremely easy to read a piece of paper that gets thrown around.

    Now, Berlusconi’s whole thing is that he’s very good at communication, it’s the thing that basically kept him going all these decades. His empire was built on media and communication so the guy *must* understand that waving such a “detailed” piece of paper around in the senate where you have cameras pointed at yourself every second might be “dangerous”.

    The man is still a mysoginistic old crook and maybe he wrote the “description” because he’s losing his marbles, which would also explain the large letter size because maybe he has trouble reading small font.

    That said I don’t know the whole thing is really strange to me; I don’t even know what he would ever gain from doing this on purpose but it just seems so strange to even do it to begin with
