I was fishing at Tammerkoski and I met one guy who was a fireman and a hunter. He invited me to his home, fed me deer and gave me home brewed beer…then he started sending me racist memes and videos of the “truth about Hitler”.
I tried to explain to him that stuff was offensive to me. He seemed to think I was the one with the problem!
The more I made my views clear that he was being racist the more he tried to convince me that immigration was bad for Finland and that somehow I was wrong to disagree with him.
He kept saying he wasn’t racist and genuinely seemed to believe that!
Then he would start talking about crime figures related to immigrants and saying things like Finland should become more like Hungary.
I stopped seeing him and blocked him from social media. He isn’t going to change.
