Which you don’t need if you have a vaccine passport.
Looks like people are gradually realising that proof of vaccination is somewhat irrelevant when it comes to stopping the spread of covid.
If people can show proof of a negative result, then that is what should be used and not passports, because they are not as good.
I’m double vaxed, had no symptoms, and over the weekend I was due to go to a party in town. I have a passport and would have gotten in anywhere.
Luckily for everyone at the venue I did an LFT which came back positive, subsequently confirmed by a PCR and am now isolating.
Do your regular LFTs, people, don’t rely on a months old jag and a scrap of paper.
Good. Where people are parroting that vaccines stop spreading it to other people is beyond me. A negative test result is significantly better than a vaccine you got in the summer; someone without covid isn’t going to spread it, regardless of whether they were vaccinated or not.
Scotland is still under the delusion thinking covid can be eliminated, it wount, we have to learn to live with it
I worked on the NHS 119 calls for a couple months and people had to report these negative results to get a text/email sent out as proof. A few times the systems stopped working and nobody was able to register anything meaning people were unable to visit care homes/work/go to events.
If this is going to be mandatory then there has to be a way round it for when there’s technical issues like that.
I’ve been to many venues in England that apparently require a COVID pass but have never been checked
