Yeah Twitter has an “expert” for every possible topic
Can confirm, I live 2 hours from Breslau and I’ve never heard anything about “Wroclaw”, what is that? /s
He lived there and worked for NATO.
He must be right.
Dude is a moron. Germans were moved from the “recovered territories” soon after WW2 and Poles from what is currently Western Ukraine were moved into the areas now vacated by Germans. And it was called Wroclaw long before the Germans took over and named it Breslau.
Ok apart from the bullshit statement about Wroclaw could somebody explain to me how the fuck South of Ukraine is polish? Like it doesn’t even border it?
Of course it’s Breslau and I live in Litzmannstadt.
Are we just going to ignore the fact that Wrocław has been in Poland for twice as long as in Germany. And it has been Czechish for even longer. So if any other country wanted to claim rights to Wrocław, it would be Czechia. And they would call it Vratislav, not Breslau.
Grüße aus dem Wartheland /s
The (I lived there and worked for NATO) is priceless cringe comedy.
Elsewhere on this Twitter thread this bloke claimed to be responsible for persuading Plac Solny Guinness bar to sell Guinness(!) and that he had a popular newspaper column in Wroclaw, or as he calls it, Breslau.
Stupidity so intense it burns.
I dunno, he may be right about Breslau. I live in Szczecin, and when talking to
Polish locals we say Szczecin always, but when Danish (a lot of their business in Szczecin) or other nationalities are concerned we say Stettin – but it’s because no foreigner can say Szczecin. So to them it may seem we say Stettin rather than Szczecin.
Germans being the exception, to them we always say Szczecin 🙂
Why are we blocking out the twitter handle? I want to see replies.
I was born in south of Poland, quite close to Wrocław. Now, after 40 years of my life, when I finally found out that I’m German, perhaps I could get my salary paid in euros?
Ach yes, Polish city of… checks notes… Chersoń.
Sounds about right.
He only speaks truth. Greetings from Gleiwitz!
South of Ukraine is Crimea, so….
I can confirm, Poland borders Germany in the south
Well, turns out im german now…
Can confirm. I was the NATO.
You all are missing the most important part. Why does he think Wrocław is in the south… As a małopolanin im offended.
# Please be satire please be satire please be satire my brain hurts, so please be satire
This feeling when you dont know whether this is a trolling post or the guy is just American
Probably it’s the same expert who said that East of Ukraine everyone is actually Russian.
Ahh fractal wrongness is always impressive.
West is German, but South is Austrian. I would know i come from Krakau. /s
Bro worked at NATO, we should trust him /s
The only Breslau to me is Festung Breslau, pierdolony kret pod sraczem.
It’s like saying kralovec is a part of russia
Well, guess I’m a german now… Wie geht’s?
He was working for a man with a funny mustache
Yeah, definitely didn’t work anywhere around here.
Sounds like autistic troll farm emplyee
I lived in Olsztyn for a year. And I’m telling you right now, I never once heard anyone refer to it as Allenstein. The problem is, this clown is probably telling everyone he knows this sort of thing and if they’ve never been, they’ll most likely believe him. “You know, Scott says… and he would know!”
Come on, this tweet is a joke :/
I studied and lived in Wrocław back in 2009. This is false.
