I feel sorry for those who couldn’t embrace their loved ones because of all this hysteria. Zoom funerals. What a pathetic way to honour someone’s life. We truly were moving towards a nightmare where the individual was treated as a bothersome number in a book. Thankfully Putin stole the spotlight and we’re back to normal now.
The inevitable answer is that we did not gape the anuses of the young and assetless hard enough, and must do so faster and harder in the next pandemic.
