  9. As long as people like him are in power, Serbia indeed will never enter EU. They fear the EU so much because they wouldn’t be able to loot the public funds and do as they please. They don’t want to be held accountable for their actions, they want to keep Serbia poor and in eternal limbo over Kosovo. This orc in particular is on Kremlin’s payroll.

    I feel sorry for my countrymen who fall for this cheap but harmful propaganda. They have effectively brainwashed Serbian people that the EU hates them when in fact they did nothing to join the EU, in 10 years of negotiations they closed 2 out of 34 chapters. And now due to its catastrophic decisions Serbia risks losing the candidate status altogether.

  16. I’m amazed how only Croatians and Albanians post things about Serbia… somebody seems obsessed.

    Anyway, this comes to no surprise, this guy is getting paid by Russia to speak these things. Actually our only minister who’s been to Moscow since the war started. His party is basically non-existent neo-communist party, he always gets carried by other parties, never tried going on elections by himself.

    We currently don’t have a government to be exact, in a week or two a new government is going to be chosen and he has very low chances of being anything in the new government, that’s why he became so rabid.

    He is a type of person who loves military and would like for Russia to enter Berlin (for the 2nd time) but at the same time during the 90s (during the Yugoslav civil war) he ran away from military service because he said “I have bad eyesight”. A thrash of a person that doesn’t really represent a general opinion (at least not with everything he says)

  18. Guys don’t hate on the whole nation just because they are run by morons. There is hope for Serbia, like there is for Hungary and everyone else who sometimes gets idiots for leaders. Yes they are voted into power, but often it is tough to get rid of them, especially if a lot of media is pro government.

    The people will realize, there is no way and no reason to ever get Kosovo back. Why sacrifice young men to fight for a place that is not rich, is underdeveloped, is ethnically 92% albanian, and doesn’t want to be serbian. Kosovo is just a scapegoat for the failings of the government, always ready to be blamed.

    The relationship with russia is a sketchy one and seems out of desperation. What matters now is that Serbia does not support russia’s claim to Ukrainian territories.

    And other europeans need to stop playing into this narrative of serbian politicians that nobody wants them or likes them. As all southern europeans, they are passionate and can be emotional, which may be a reason why these kinds of politicians get support in the first place. Populists who promised the whole world, but only point fingers and shift the blame when it doesn’t happen.

    Serbians are good people, when they don’t act like kindergartners who think all the toys are theirs. It’s just that they always were pumped into believing they are larger than life, then the 90s slapped them into reality and it’s still traumatic. Give them a break and don’t take their politicians seriously, especially if you don’t want serbians to take them seriously.
