No alligators?
Funny, I can see what your talking about. High rise condo buildings is a regular site living in south Florida, those have similar appearance. Finns do love south Florida. I’ve always assumed it’s because it’s like living in a sauna.
Don’t look too close
No, that goes to Kalajoki.
My my when war is over I’ll go to Miami!
I’ve always called Oulu the Los Angeles of Finland because you can’t go anywhere without a car.
So you’re telling the city I’m seeing here is soon to be reclaimed by the sea?
This Merihaka strip used to be part of my commute to work. One summer morning couple of years ago, say 6am, I was riding my bike through. Usually very few people out that time. But now there was a dude feeding bread to goslings! Dude spotted me and put the bread behind his back and walked to lean on the rail you see in the pic, looking out to the sea. Not sus at all! Lähiruokaa.
Guess you haven’t been to miami…
Luckily there is no Miami of Finland
Mega-City One of Finland
Best of brutalism. Grew up there in the 90’s, what a lovely place. These days its much more green and upgraded than back then. What a shame. 🙂
