Foreign investors pledge €14.8m to Louth GAA stadium in exchange for Irish residency

  1. Hope the rich lads getting residency don’t have to live proximal to where their money gets invested. Some Syrian businessman getting set up in Louth would be waking up every morning going “I never knew how good I had it in the Caliphate…”

  2. Seems kinda of dodgy. Malta had a golden passport thing that was openly used by Russian oligarchs. I suppose it’s good to get foreign direct investment but surely it should be open to see what kind of residents are we getting?

  3. is this that korean gang who planned to build a gated community with schools shops and all for themselves?

  4. It’s the same the world over. You can get to live anywhere you want practically, provided you have the money for investments like this. If you’re poor then good luck!
