This sausage vending machine in Saarbrücken, Germany is just 5 km apart from this baguette vending machine in Forbach, France

  1. The match is not about sausages versus baguettes. It is about ’24/7′ versus ’24/24′. And I am under the feeling the French will be losing that one.

  2. I’m actually surprised there aren’t more of these over here considering how strict our laws about store opening times can be.

There’s been many a day where I had to order take out simply because I had nothing to cook with on a sunday or after 9 pm.

  3. How about new-concept 5k race where you start with a baguette in France, run 5k into Germany, fill it with 3 sausages, and only finish the race once its completely eaten?

  4. Being French, I’ve seen dozens of “bread-o-mats”, but it’s the first time I hear about wurstomats. Even though I live really close to Saarbrücken!
