This follows senior Tory MP Crispin Blunt who this morning called for the PM to go saying “the game is up” after Liz Truss’ market mayhem inducing mini-Budget.
The MP for Reigate issued his appeal for her resignation as prime minister on The Andrew Neil Show tonight on Channel 4, where he said the “game is up” for Ms Truss.

It took the first couple of ministers quitting Johnson’s cabinet to embolden the others, resulting in a tsunami of resignations, which is what eventually did for him.
Now the first couple of open calls are in for Truss to go, maybe that will trigger a similar momentum.
I’d love to see them call out the party members who voted for her. Most MPs backed Sunak but 81,000 people voted for Truss and that clinched it for her. They should be held to account when it was already clear that her plan would spell disaster for the economy.
