Part of the problem of slowness is simply a question of disparate, decentralized decision making.
The federal US government is the sole responsible for dealing with foreign affairs. As such, it can quite easily and quickly unlock spending, and get it out to the field. The EU is trying to get 27 different member states, with different systems, different parliaments, different… all on the same page.
This should be the sign that there maybe should be some sort of centralized decision making process in emergency situations.
We need to de-escalate instead of making the war out to be about the future of europe

I support our current approach supporting Ukraine enough to win whilst still not costing ourselves enough to provoke the rise of pro putin parties in Europe ( RN,AfD,UKIP,LFI) It would be a much larger loss to Ukraine if a country say France flippes to supporting Russia or just neutrality.
Let’s keep arming Ukraine, Keep supporting them politically and economically keep supporting the refugees but not make any more significant increased commitments that might unravel everything
