  1. Excerpt:

    >Ex-Health Secretary Jeremy Hun has been made Chancellor of the Exchequer for a bit. At least a fortnight, maybe even a month.

  2. So, Hunt is basically the PM now? Truss cant sack him and he is viewed as more sensible than Truss by everyone.

So guess he can do what he wants.

Hes already saying taxes will go up (which is fine so long as they are fairly allocated) and that the mini budget was badly thought out.

  3. He’s the Chancellor but his real job is the prime minister’s baby sitter and he’s there to make sure she doesn’t get shit everywhere again

  4. In a ten minute interview on sky this morning Hunt said “hard decisions” almost twice for every one of the last twelve years that the conservatives have been telling us the same thing.

If you’ve been making “hard decisions” for twelve years, that probably implies you’re getting those decisions wrong doesn’t it?

  5. I’m not sure if any other government has shuffled around completely underqualified, or completely incompetent people as much as this one.

  6. It says a lot that a total arsehole like Hunt (who desperately wants to abolish the NHS and replace it with Yank-style insurance) actually seems to be the most sane person in the cabinet.

  7. He’s such a terrible person and MP they hid him from view for a long time – but he’s back like the Dark Lord he is

Hopefully he’s the last nail in the Tory coffin

  8. Thank fuck I’m Scottish. Actually wait. What you mean old bitter cunts are stopping us going independent. Give it a few year ma man then they all dead. Sound. It’s coming. Wakes, n Ireland.. got it’s on agenda probably. Welcome to join. Northern England, get in board and tell the south east to fuck off.

  9. So they’ve made him PM but not “officially announcing it” until the polls improve because they know they would REALLY have to do a GE? Pretty sure people can see what you’re doing guys. It’s not going to work. Accept your defeat already. Christ…
