🤔 What would happen if the Dail for some reason should not elect Leo on that day?

  2. God this is a difficult problem. Just no obvious way around it…

Lads, lads, what about rotating on the 13th or the 20th instead?

  3. It makes it harder to prop up the false choice of two meritless parties.

This sounds like they are dipping their foot in the water with regards to postponing democratic duties.

They could stand down and allow for home rule if they’re finding it too hard to do their job.

  4. Big todo about nothing. They’ve double booked themselves for an EU meeting on the same day they were meant to handover the role.

Just do the change on another date. One day, one week, earlier or later. Does it matter?

  5. Can they not just put it back to January when the Dáil comes back? What difference does a few weeks make?

  6. Yeah this is a huge problem. I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight as I’ll be too worried about this.
