been in Romania for a month… so many stray dogs… I loved the country so much and the people too, but it was sickening to see so many strays, as if shelters didn’t exist at all, as if people didn’t give a fuck about their dogs running away, as if there was no solution or no one cared about finding one (this was 6 years ago, situation very likely changed)

A family in my street has 4 romanian dogs. Adopting dogs from romania is very popular here (which I dont really get because our shelters are full aswelll).
