It’s a good thing to have scholarships and support for black students, but i always feel like these support should be more focused at an earlier stage of education. trying to undo the damage of spending 12 years inside a biased educational system would be very difficult.
Stormzy did the same and it makes no sense. They’re already at Oxford, they’re gonna be fine! Why not the young kids in poverty? Of all skin colours too perhaps.
“The AJ Tracey Fund aims to address “historic underrepresentation” at Oxford, *the top university in the UK*.” Didn’t the Guardian themselves just release a league table that placed oxford as 2nd? Lol
I find it amusing so many people feel the need to tell this guy how he should be spending his money when he’s trying to do a good thing. He could be spending it on a Porsche
