I don’t understand how this is a problem? Surely not every person wants to go to the same places an instagram/travel blogger does. Not to mention the abundance of information on Google that is likely sponsored and paid for.
People complain about “clueless tourists” but now also complain when others try to learn…exhausting lol

I really feel this – I made one comment maybe four or five years ago about the price of weed “when I used to live in Zürich” and regularly get messages from people asking for a dealer in Zürich.
No other topic, no other locality, has ever resulted in me getting message on Reddit – either people assume CH topics should always be served up on a plate or the Zürich police’s anti-drug section is getting desperate…

Got the same message, reported it as spam.
Still didnt get any whatsapp messages. All my friends are being scammed but why not me? 🙁
Edit: i just realized i have a picture of me with my gf as a profille pic so maybe thats why…
