Why would they cut off half the user base of the game ? It makes more sense to keep it on all platforms.
Also why is it so different to other companies that have exclusive games ? God of war was playstation only for long enough. Same for last of us.
Even if the deal goes through, MS would only be the 3rd bigger publisher, Sony would remain 1st. CMA are putting way too much focus on CoD while ignoring that Sony have some of the best 1st-party titles out there, exclusive to Playstation.
honsetly i find the whole thing just absurd, sony are complaining about unfairness yet for years they paid activison for exclusivity on certain digital itams on games like destiny 2 or cal of duty etc… this is absolute bullshit, sony have been anti consumer for years now.
If Microsoft didn’t pull Minecraft from the PlayStation universe – or the Nintendo universe for that matter – they are not going to pull Call of Duty from it either. And they released Psychonauts 2 on the PS4 last year as well
