Kwarteng being sacked is ‘inevitable’, Sky News told

  1. It’s already done according to many sources.

5 weeks was it that he lasted? A lot taken up with the funeral of the Queen?

    This cannot be real life.

Love the question posed on LBC just now. – “does this mean Liz Truss has joined the ANTI GROWTH COALITION?”

    Lol

My main thought is how on earth can she survive now having had to sack him? It was all signed off by her she said!

Criminal what these two have had the audacity to inflict on the country without oversight from FUCKING ANYONE.

If she was a double agent and was trying to destroy the Tories, could she have possibly done a better job? Honest question!

  2. How can she just sack him and pretend everything is fine?

It’s her tax cuts that he implemented! Her whole campaign was about tax cuts. But the economy can’t handle tax cuts at the moment, which a lot of people did point out in advance.

  3. >Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice – stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband.

    >David Cameron. 7:26AM, May 4th 2015.

With Kwarteng being removed from office this means we are about to have our 4th Chancellor of the Exchequer **this year**.

12 years, 5 months, 3 days of consecutive Conservative administrations.

  4. Hey look on the bright side- there are 1 million jobs available right now, he’ll have his pick of whatever low paid bullshit work he wants to do. Get him picking fruit!

  5. Wow, so the last two chancellors are *both* going to end up in the top 3 of shortest serving chancellors, only beaten by one who died in office.

  6. Truss is doomed too. She stood by that budget…so the idea she’s going to do the complete opposite and say “that’s what I meant” is hard to swallow. It’s not brexit, royal family, political allegiance and everything else she has flipped flopped over…was the budget a good idea or not?

  7. Not a good advert for Eton College is he. Gets into his post and the first thing he does causes him to get sacked.

  8. Poor old Kami-Kwase. We hardly knew ye.

I’m sure he’ll be back as a minister down the line.

  9. you know rabid neoliberals will explain away the failure of their policies on not being applied correctly… again

  10. I’m sure your friends at Odey Asset Management will give you a job Kwasi, oh no they won’t. You were a useful idiot to them as they plied you with champagne before your groundbreaking budget, so they could short the £, but now you’re not in government you’re as much use an an ashtray on a motorbike

  11. Jezza Hunt is reportedly getting a crack of the whip next. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

  12. This fecker STILL holds on to his views even after being sacked

The whole government must leave. NOW. General election NOW.

  13. She has now lost her human shield and is going to be savaged over both this and her u-turn. Kwarteng had his uses and Truss is only going to find out soon enough.
