Despite [this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/comments/tgzaxt/so_those_louth_lads_that_who_reddit_said_werent/), it is unclear what happened with the funds from this GoFundMe. One of the the guys who was supposed to be a beneficiary has said that he never actually saw Derek Moran in Ukraine.

While there is little doubt that he **was** there at some stage, he’s been back on [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/@derekofficialll3/) seemingly in Ireland since July and has returned to thirst trapping older women with not a single mention made of Ukraine, something that seems really odd given the fact that he was readying himself for combat with the Russian army less than 4 months earlier.

Anyone know what actually happened afterwards?

  1. According to his fb page he came back to Ireland after 7 weeks. He was definitely over there and looks like he was genuinely helping people. I don’t know why he came back and quietened down about Ukraine immediately after.

  2. According to his Facebook videos he was helping out at the boarder between Poland and Ukraine. Seemed legit but only really got going when the rumours about himself of the Lord Mayor of Liexlip were in Poland dossing. I believe that Lord Mayor lad was spotted at a train station in Poland a while ago.

  3. You’d have been a fucking moron to have watched any of the videos on your man’s TikTok and then donated anything to that GoFundMe of his. Embarrassing stuff. Also, all the content that was posted while the lads were in Ukraine and seemingly disappeared which is…interesting.

  6. is he the same fool who tried to go to north korea to have a pint with kim jung il?, he aparently was working with charity to get pets out of ukraine and aparently wasn’t a registered charity or something. seems like an utter attention seeker gobshite
