Electric blankets? Do they not cost a fortune to run? Or have they improved efficiency-wise?
Electric blankets are kinda pointless tho.
You can get same effect by just putting thicker blanket. Your own body temperature will keep it warm. Normal insulator physics.
That said, both are pointless once you need to leave your bed anyway.
I saw a fella mangled off his head on something in a bathroom in a shopping centre. He was actually plugged into a socket in there from a cable running from his coat. I was highly confused but then I heard some charities are giving the homeless these wearable electric blanket jackets basically. They charge them up and I assume the lithium ion battery keeps them warm throughout the night. One less thing to worry about while going through drug addiction I suppose.
I never really thought of getting an electric blanket. Going to look into it now if they’re that cheap to run.
I spent years at work trying to talk customers into LED bulb but they didn’t want to listen. Well, now they’ll listen to the people on the TV and radio telling them to buy them.
People only replacing incandescent bulbs with LESs now? If so these ones must be morons
