I can’t read the article because of the tracking wall, but apparently [the mural is a modern forgery from the 1940s](https://forskning.no/arkeologi-kunsthistorie-niku-norsk-institutt-for-kulturminneforskning/konservatoren-malte-selv-den-oppsiktsvekkende-demonveggen/1886688).
I guess this will be one the itinerary when I travel to Skien next week!
