Here we are, the new PM doesn’t seem to have any interest in talking to the leaders of the devolved government, but has been trying to undermine them saying they don’t deserve attention
Worth noting that historically a new PM usually gets in touch with their devolved leaders within a few days (and gets in touched with the new devolved leader), however Truss doesn’t seem to have any interest here. I appreciate the Queen death may have not helped, but it’s been several weeks now where she could have made outreach.
This, after all, is the Foreign Secretary who held a Brexit strategy meeting with representatives of the Orange Order, UDA and UVF last summer (whilst deliberately snubbing democratically elected politicians).
They met at a Memorial Service for the Queen at Llandaff Cathedral on 16th Sept.
Technically she went one better and met him face to face
She’s too busy bending the knee to the unelected and letting her ex boyfriend screw the country’s finances
Shows how much the “unionist” party (as they self-label here in Scotland) actually care for Scotland and Wales…
But then again they’ve made it clear that the voters in Northern England they swindled in 2019 (who they too claimed to have listened to and care about) are nothing more than shit on their shoes either. So they are at least consistent.
She’s probably waiting for the jury to come back to her on whether he’s a friend or a foe.
