“Pedram Tamiz was jailed for four years and two months”
“Sohila Tamiz was jailed for five years”

What pathetic sentences. Honestly, I am surprised we haven’t seen more of people taking things into their own hands, given the piss poor sentencing in this country. Time and time again, we see utter scumbags given a poxy sentence like this.
>One victim, Carl Hopkins, had a balaclava-clad gang burst through his door, douse him in petrol and knock three of his teeth out.
>…
>Sohila was convicted of 14 counts including conspiracy to interfere with the peace and comfort of the residential occupier, conspiracy to unlawfully evict and conspiracy to burgle and jailed for five years.
>Pedram was jailed for four years and two months after being convicted on seven counts including conspiracy to interfere with the peace and comfort of the residential occupier and conspiracy to unlawfully evict.
>Both were acquitted on two other counts relating to illegal evictions.
Did they just completely forget to charge them for conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm OR conspiracy to murder? The man was doused in petrol. The only reason to do that is if you intend that they should die.
>Judge Lowe handed down a criminal behaviour order designed to prevent Sohila and Pedram from acting as landlords.
>
>He also ordered compensation worth £30,500 to be paid to the victims and £200,000 in costs to go to Thanet District Council, which brought the case.
People are focusing on the 4/5 year bit, but the fact that they can never be landlords again is important. Good on the council – why did they have to ‘bring the case’, was this a private prosecution? Surely if this pair are having peoples teeth kicked out then the police and CPS should have been all over it.
wasnt this an exact plot in an episode of Law and Order: UK?
What is this landphobia? Do we really still live in a society where rentoids can oppress people of land?
We should bring back the death penalty but only for politicians and landlords.
What did the tenants do to warrant this level of attack to evict them?

“Prosecutor Michael Polak said she had also conspired to damage the toilet”.
A british legal first I would think.
I lived in a house where the landlord would get his coke addicted minion to illegally evict people.
Good times, good times. Totally don’t get lost in thought in the shower over my memories of that shitty place years later.
