I know you all have hard ons for tall buildings here and I am 100% in favour of more density but I have to say that the proposed building for that site looked kind of ridiculous given its location. It would have just been offices as far as I know too so it’s not going to make your rent any cheaper either by increasing housing supply.
   We need loads of blocks of 8 or 10 storey apartment buildings around the place. Here in London there seem to be new blocks like this everywhere, apart from the fancy office skyscrapers in the city etc.
