Sounds as if Cycling Mikey fucked-up, because the reports suggest that the driver was able to claim that Mikey threw himself at the car bonnet.
Cycling Mikey is probably the countries biggest prick. Glad he lost.
Being struck by vehicles is common when you deliberately walk out in front of moving traffic.
Whilst he emphasises the contact, he’s deliberately continued to drive towards him and continued to drive whilst there was a pedestrian on the bonnet.
I don’t remember any of that being in the highway code.
Sherrilyn Speid, however drives gently into the back of Insulate Britain protestors and ends up with a dangerous driving charge.
Both are intentionally obstructing the highway, one is contravening the keep left and apparently a no right turn. The other is trying to go straight ahead.
To me both drivers are melts but this is very much about who represents you.
