Like long ago, no light, no TV, no smart phones just fires, old lamps, books/papers and ones imagination. The rate of change in the last 100 years has been crazy. Imagine the next 100, yikes!

These are the blackouts they warned us about!!! Before your estate, it was Cork City centre! Its entirely random!! We will never be told who gets a power cut or when, until it happens!!!!

If you go to https://powercheck.esbnetworks.ie/ they’ve live information on outages and estimated restoration times, just tap the cluster of faults and keep going until you find your area.
It’s quite a decent service.
This hasn’t affected me at all, strangely. Mind you, I’m in Spain.
