I like me euros, but I really wish we’d used the animals on them, there’s nothing stopping us, and I still think they’re marvellous.
Yer missing 50p, the large 5p and 10p the 1988 Dublin 50p and the millennium pound coin.
Check your 20p’s! Apparently there’s like 50 with 1985 on them missing from the central bank.

The punt is just a savage coin,fond memories getting one off me granda and getting loads out of it in the shop.good times
Getting a few punt on Sunday for going to mass and being a good lad and being able to get a wibbly wobbly wonder or a brunch and having enough change left to buy a Finches rock shandy.

I remember we used to get given a 10p piece if we got all the words correct on our spelling test…could get 2 whoppa bars with that!
Our money had so much more life back then

When they binned these off in favour of Euros, I had the peacock on the penny tattooed on my shoulder.
