With the year 2022 coming to an end the federal government will increase the threshholds for 2023 for a few VISAS/permits, mainly concerning Blue Cards and IT specialists.

The new threshhold will be 7300€/Month.
This means the Blue Card threshhold for MINT positions will rise from 3666€/month to 3796€/month or 45,552€/year. (52% of the threshhold)
The non-MINT Blue Card will rise from 4700€/month to 4818€/month or 57.816€/year (66% of the treshhold)
The IT-specialist will rise from 4230€/month to 4380€/month or 52.560€/year. (60% of the treshhold)
These new salary threshholds will be relevant for employments started after 31.12.2022. For people already holding Blue Cards/IT specialist permits this will only be relevant when an extension of the permit is needed.
