Korčula old town, Croatia

  1. Someone cranked that density slider all the way to 100. Looks idyllic on the sea front but those apartments must be very dark 90% of the time being so squished together.

  2. I’ve been there 25 years ago on vacation. Lovely town and a lovely island. Sitting on the porch for breakfast with the mountains on the main land in view rising from the Mediterranean coast. Most beautiful!

  3. The stereotypical greek colony, a lot of settlements like that on our Black Sea coast. Greeks find a small peninsula, build a wall to separate it from the mainland, and they have their natural fortress done, with a port! Nessebar is very similar, for comparison.
