Satellite data implies the fires are cooling, but winds are now blowing north, although not too strong. Let’s hope no sparks get carried further in. The countryside has had little more than a few drops of rain all season and everything is dry.
Fleets of helicopters have been going day and night and already one firefighter has lost their life. Further spread would be really bad.

I actually drove by this as it was just starting, crazy to think how much it has spread
I live close with this place, and we get big smoke after fire in my city! And my city is like in 50 km from Estepona.
