Good they are absolutely stupid things I don’t know how they ever got passed. I vape and use refils not that hard to do like.

As someone who uses them I have to agree with this.
It’s gotten ridiculous the amount of them thrown on the ground everywhere, not to mention the gangs of kids using them because of how flavored they are versus normal pods.
People will still be able to use those normal pod-system or refillable vapes.

I buy one every two days as committing to a rechargeable mod means I actually vape. Happy to hear this, too easy to run into any shop on a night out or when out in general. I’d imagine the flavours will be the next thing to go.

Thank fuck. Actual Ecigs should be getting no bans though apart from the age restrictions being tightened a bit better

Good! TPD (the laws that pushed people from coil and tank based units) was a massive mistake because it commoditised vaping for a brand new generation of potential smokers. Before the disposable craze people knew what they where doing, had a sense of what was in it, the different types and strengths of nicotine.
Fingers crossed we go back to that.
I would vote in favour of this. The fact that you see them discarded everywhere is one reason, but people are also not disposing of them correctly so they will end up in landfills and that’s a landfill fire waiting to happen

Stopped smoking full stop.
Recently i fell of the wagon and picked one of these things up.
It lasted a day. Went to another vapeshop, one where i used to get coils and juice.
“No one gets the mods anymore. We sell 90% disposables. Mods seems to be overlooked and no longer interesting.”
Decided to get a small cheap mod, and few juices.
Eff these disposable things.
I bet the vapeshops will be fighting tooth and nail as they are a cashcow.
Edit: In true MUP style.. Would doubling down on the price make people sway away from disposables?

Thank god I sell these in my shop ( as that’s what the people want ), but the amount of them that will end up in landfill is a disaster in the making , also them been disposable has encouraged all the teenagers in the country to use them
Got to say , i kind of hate that we have to ban things because people are just to selfish to dispose of them properly but sure thats ireland. Ban this , ban that.
I wish for just once we could unban weed and take in the tax boom for these trying times.
