Sant nok. Jeg har bodd i Norge for nesten 6 år nå. Tror ikke at jeg snakker veldig bra Norsk men i allefall klarer jeg å snakke med kolleger på jobb. Bortsett fra en som snakker den dialekt. Det er enklere å forstå Svenskere enn han.
What way you learning?
D e d d e.
Sadly for foreigners, Norwegian pronunciation is absolutely not homogenised. There is no even official pronunciation standard, every local pronunciation is considered valid.
My mom and her whole family (obviously) are from Stavanger and I learned Norwegian through them growing up in the US and spending summers in Norway. Later on in life, I tried learning high Norwegian and totally was confused lmao.
vetsje heilt ka du meine eg, ka e gale med dialektå ? 🙈 no but seriously though, some dialects can definitely be difficult to understand
Føle meg faen så truffen på grunn av kor korrekt det e

As an American living in Norway, Stavanger dialect was particularly challenging to understand.
I’m Norwegian and I have a friend from that area that I met studying in England, and we usually speak English to each other since I can’t understand her
Such silly gooses are Norwegians
Moderen sa at stavangerfolk har lettare for å lera andre språk, siden me kan skarra og rulla R’ane. Men tvile på det stemme xD
It’s not like you would want to talk to people from stavanger anyways.
Wait until you learn about the Northern dialects
South west norwegian is hyper nynorsk spoken
Tbh Stavanger dialect is probably the easiest one. All you have to remember is basically eg.
Is this a dialect where this pronounce “hv” as “k”? As in “ka” instead of “hva”?
Still can’t wrap my head around this one.
