Nice trick to let people think there is no inflation. Same price, but 20% less volume. A fancy new packaging helps too.

  1. check bottoms of cans and cups. A lot of brands are starting to introduce fake bottoms to have the same size of packaging but less contents.

  2. Are you sure this is correct? You’ve bought 2 different products from what I can see:

    – Viofluor Classic (125 ml) – € 0.69 [https://www.aldi.be/nl/producten/assortiment/cosmetica-verzorging/tandverzorging/tandpasta-2301-1-0.article.html](https://www.aldi.be/nl/producten/assortiment/cosmetica-verzorging/tandverzorging/tandpasta-2301-1-0.article.html)

    – Viofluor Expertise (100 ml) – € 0.95 [https://www.aldi.be/nl/producten/assortiment/cosmetica-verzorging/tandverzorging/premium-tandpasta-4370-1-0.article.html](https://www.aldi.be/nl/producten/assortiment/cosmetica-verzorging/tandverzorging/premium-tandpasta-4370-1-0.article.html)

(unless they replaced one by the other but there’s no indication they have)

  3. Hebt ge de prijs van de ursi’kes gezien??
    30pct gestegen, gemakkelijk
Mijn kar is minimum 160eur tegenwoordig
En da is zonder extra’s van in de metalen bakken

  4. I learned about this in Marketing class – sometimes, manufacturers don’t want to increase their prices, so they find smart ways to reduce the produce they’re selling… for example, they’ll make a donut, with the hole in the middle being bigger, or cookies being just a few % smaller, etc.
