Does that include those living in private landlord housing?
They don’t mention it but this is available under ECO4’s LA Flex (local authorities flexibility) and isn’t just limited to England.
Im all for this but can we also have help for the ‘not low incomes but just above it and currently deleting savings so will be soon’ – of england
>Low-income homes in England are to have their energy efficiency improved under a £1.5bn government plan that will also address poor insulation.
>The funding is being made available to local authorities and social housing providers with the aim of upgrading 130,000 homes.
They are spending over £10k per house to insulate Britain, fair play
I really don’t mind being taxed more, if I have got it I am happy to share it. But I really really wish schemes like this were open to people like me. We are well off, but we can’t afford new insulation, a heat pump or solar and likely never will be able to.
