I’m learning watchmaking in Geneva and making videos to show others what I’m doing. I would love to meet you or just get your opinion if you work in the watch industry: Is what I’m doing a door opener or the opposite? How seriously do the Swiss take watchmaking?

  2. I can’t comment anything particularly helpful, but I know someone who studied watchmaking and managed to get a job successfully in Geneva. I also know someone who works at Rolex, without any specific training as a technician. According to him anyone can work at Rolex. With specialised training I suppose a lot more doors are opened for you.

  3. Now this video was interesting, keep going on with these videos! It’s very nice to see, how difficult it is to work in so small scale by hand, i could never do this. I don’t know anything about the industry for producing and restoring watches, but i think, that you will have an easy time to get a job and to go on with that work, because there are not many people that can do that.
