Well, I’ll go ahead and take the downvotes, but it has to be said…going ahead with these shows is incredibly tone deaf. Assuming the discussions surrounding current events actually take place, I’m sure when making the decision they argued for it as a show of strength to reassure people our defense systems are adequate. But given the talks of nuclear war, combined with messages to preserve resources, how is it justified to burn tons of fuel and explode fake ordinance in what amounts to an afternoon of entertainment? Does everyone involved just have their heads in the sand?

Cool! I wanted to go but unfortunately it’s during the week when I work. I guess some people take the day off or something?
I was there on Thursday, it was awesome… And the F-35, what a monster!!
The only downside is that I get sunburned
I was there on tuesday and helped with the helicopter transport. It was amazing and the wind that comes from them landing and starting is just stupid when you are nearby. I hope that I can be present next year too.
