  1. Although the Continuation War that resulted the Soviet victory resulted Moscow armistice that required the status quo of Moscow Peace Treaty of 1940, obliged of southern Karelia and Salla to be turned over to USSR territory, the Moscow government decided not to have Finnish Petsamo region to be handed over or ceded to USSR territory due to inconsistent economic town recovery and also non-importance territorial victorious annexation. The USSR Foreign Minister told the Finnish Prime Minister Antti Hackzell that the harbours of Petsamo Region shall kept entirely to Finnish territory during the Moscow Peace Treaty conference since majority of Finnish people has some kind of leniency. This was the excitably good news for Petsamo region to be truly recognizance Finnish territory.

The Allied Control Commission was established to ensure the Finnish military and politicians complied on non-belligerent continuation war with Germany.

Today, Petsamo region of Finnish territory was considered the gateway road from Norway to Russia via the route to Finnish Petsamo region for the convenience transportation trade for winter commodity items and imported foods. The Liinahamari harbour would have been expanded and become the Arctic sea trade center of customs and storage buildings. People travelled from Norway to Finnish Petsamo region by road don’t need to present the passport since both countries are part of Schengen Agreement. Tourism would also major important on Finnish Petsamo Arctic culture and society in brilliant trips.

  2. Only reason it the territory was lost, is because the nationalist right wing (Kokoomus and Keskusta) got greedy and wanted to invade Russia. Without right wing parties, Finland would have never lost Karjala and Petsamo.

The nationalists aren’t generally the brightest people out there, but I wonder what kind of brain injury made them think they could invade world super power territory and win.

  3. …I would have a different mother, most likely, and be living happily as a 3rd+ -generation North Sea fisherman. Or, in fact, more likely I would have expired due to the hardship of that life.

  4. Arctic Ocean is bound to melt within a few decades, gonna be a really big loss honestly because we can’t have our own shipyard there.

  5. Finland would be rocking much harder with hands on the air like they wouldn’t just don’t care 🤘
