People with HIV have access to injectable forms of cabotegravir and rilpivirine, and those with drug-resistant infections will be able to receive fostemsavir after it was approved last week.
The new treatments will be available across England for around 148,000 people, ending uncertainty for people with HIV in regions where they have not always been confident they will receive the best treatments.

Keep being told we’ll get the injectable drug for Prep eventually too. That’ll nicely cover everyone with and everyone at risk. Great news!
Ambition is great and that, but how are they going to stop people catching it overseas or coming in with it? Border control is near zero.
If the UK’s governance remains on its current trajectory until 2030, the entire population will have been forced to leave as refugees, so I think this goal is achievable!
A large portion of HIV a treatment in the UK is spent on people recently arrived, I doubt that we will defeat it under these circumstances unless we defeat it everywhere
