  1. It’s actually got so bad that boards actually feels less constrictive. I’m probably spending more time following particular threads there than browsing here.

    Are the mods here in r/ ireland also mods on boards?
    Is that the reason for the link?

  3. r/Ireland is like Boards but with more Tayto and breakfast roll chatter on account of the Americans are watching.

  4. I deleted my planks account and I’m never going back. I can’t bare what the place has become. Every political or woke thread gets shoehorned down a blind alley where you cannot question anything or you get trolled by the mob and then banned by the overlord for not keeping to the agenda.

    The Current affairs forum is overrun with several government defending bots working together who get away constant gaslighting by jumping in to try to steer conversations off down an off topic rabbit hole all to try deflect and avoid dealing with the topic at hand. Anyone who’s not in agreement with the government is then labelled a shinnerbot!
