I think it’s pretty cool that a Swiss brand is ranked as world’s top 10 instant noodles, considering instant noodles first became popular in Asia. which is likely also why the other brands on this list are all Asian
Never seen that in a store here. I usually go with Nissin Soba Chili.
Only issue: adding the soy sauce without making a mess…
It is predominantly made in India for the Indian market. You might be able to get it in the Indian store.
They have them in the Indian import section here in Canada. I bought one because “wtf Maggi?” and they were pretty good from what I remember.
I also bought Maggi seasoning once that was decent but certainly no Aromat. And I saw a Maggi store in Prague a few years ago, but it was closed.
Maggi is super popular in India. I used to work for an indian employer. they often brought indian business clients over to Switzerland. I was dumbfounded when I saw their indian Maggi products. They also didn’t know its a swiss product.
You can get it any Indian store in Switzerland. Try it once, it’s very different from the Maggi we get in Switzerland.
do i see
wide flag?
I never realised Maggi was swiss. It’s such a staple of Asian food stores and Asian cooking that I just assumed it was Asian.
Had never seen or heard of it being used for anything else til I came here
What kind of shit chef you have to be to start rating instant noodles?
Heinz and Nestlé also have localized stuff everywhere in the world
You dam right indomie makes this list TWICE!!!!! But I have to say the onion chicken is best
My girlfriend who’s parents are Indian, eats Maggi Masala when she’s ill. She adds some ghee or butter to make them more creamy.
I know them to good, they were my lifesaver while having food poisoning in India 😀
My husband loves this stuff. He spent his teen years in India, surviving on mostly maggi masala with added cheese. Still his go-to comfort food, and it must be “fake” cheese.
Damn, this list is sleeping on some of the incredible instant noodles from China.

>I’ve never had Maggi Masala
Probably because you live in Switzerland and not in India. They are produced for the Indian market. And they are a quite controversial product, [been banned some years ago, due to safety concerns](https://www.indiatoday.in/education-today/gk-current-affairs/story/maggi-controversy-why-it-is-being-banned-in-india-255448-2015-06-03).
