Councillor says there’s a growing acceptance around use of Class A drugs throughout Kerry

  1. Yes it is horrifying but it just annoys me how no one bats an eyelid at how alcohol is even more widely accepted and just as potentially damaging as any other drug

  2. She says it’s terrifying to see people using cocaine at weddings or in public toilets on a night out.

ive never done drugs(seriously), but hasn’t this been the normal way to do drugs, since the start of toilets and weddings? We’re people hiding under the beds doing them?

  3. Is this not a normal thing everywhere? Surely Kerry is not that far behind? Is it like all other place’s in Ireland, just ignore it till you can’t?

  4. This was probably her wake up moment where she looked around and realised everyone around her was on cocaine yet they’ve been on it for years.

  5. It’s all over the country and has been for years.

I remember being in college 10+ years ago and you’d hear of some people taking pills the odd time on a night out and that was it. You’d never hear of people taking coke. Now it’s gone completely the other way, every single night out people are buying the stuff.

I know of a few lads who are mad into GAA and fitness in general and they are all on the bag on a night out. Even going to the local, instead of a few pints and home it’s turned into a few pints then when they get giddy, get a bag and back to one of the lads house. It’s crazy how many people are using it so casually now.
