It’s Malta what do you expect
Malta has a few downfalls unfortunately corruption,littering and illegal hunting of many endangered wildlife, for such a small beautiful amazing island it needs to stiffen up laws and penalties to stop it’s image from being dragged through the dirt all the time.
At least we know that our anti-aircraft abilities are top notch 🙂

Repugnant creep who would do this. IDGAF if it’s traditional. That’s just a meaningless excuse.
I do not condone these things but keep in mind that the people who do these things aren’t hunters but poachers. There’s a difference. Hunters respect the law and care about the environment. Poachers have a great disregard towards all of the above.

Sadly [it’s not the first instance](https://www.independent.com.mt/articles/2021-09-15/local-news/Highly-protected-Eygptian-Vulture-s-migration-cut-short-over-Malta-after-being-reportedly-shot-down-6736236749) where a birds tracking abruptly ends in Malta. Enforcement and penalties are lax. Not to mention that the government has a soft spot for these ‘hunters’.
