Boris Johnson is back … from his three post-resignation holidays

  1. Maybe the mop-haired clown should tell his colleagues and the taxpayer who funded these holidays before stepping into the ring

  2. Unpopular opinion? Boris Johnson should be the PM. If Britons are stupid enough to hand him a majority, he should be the one to face them at the polls at the end of it. Conservatives have the lowest polling in memory… but that’s not how it works in this democracy. You win terms. Partygate and other fiascos were 100% predictable the second he took office… which means they aren’t really scandals because people and the party got exactly what they voted for. As for Sunak – what’s the point? He’s not going to be able to control the pit of vipers any more than Truss was – he couldn’t even beat her in the leadership, never mind control a party that will have had 5 leaders in 6 years.

  3. I think there’s serious fear amongst the non sycophant tories he will come back. Saw the interview with raab who claimed he always supported him but shouldn’t stand whilst he’s being investigated. Raab is a sneaky one and he knows Johnson is doomed and will be recalled shortly.

Also I feel sorry for the people in Uxbridge who are not even represented in parliament. How can you just abscond? Surely there’s a mechanism that says you have to actually do your job!

  4. He’ll be back in number 10 soon as well, because Sunak hasn’t officially said he’s standing and Mordaunt won’t get 100 nominations.
