This is the digital equivalent of “Sorry I can’t hear you I am driving into a tunnel”
They are having a lot of technical issues. Probably because they fired half of their support staff because they have to “save money”.
I joined them recently and I supposedly could do everything online. I then call them after 14 days why nothing has happened yet: they claim they never got anything from me, while they sent me a contract in paper through the mail and have a isn’t zone with them…
Oh well, hope their support team now fixes the ticket.
Same thing with my provider, they changed my voorschot to €220 something and when I went to the website to lower it it wouldn’t let me (it already was at the lowest) The app let me lower it to €150 but it doesn’t save the change. So after lots of messing about I found the sweet spot lol, €180. And it only saved while having the app AND the website open untill you receive the confirmation e-mail. I guess it’s a sort of bug or whatever. Sure hope prices will go down, it’s insane having to pay this much for basic needs
We changed it a few days ago, after the yearly bill. But when I was going to their website yesterday there were a bunch of issues, some pages weren’t even accessible. I’m guessing they’re having problems right now. Wait until tomorrow and see if it’s better. It’s not very time sensitive for you, so no stress.
Basically it means your request failed because you’re ineligible for something. In addition, it can’t find the proper translation for this message that would probably explain what exactly went wrong and what you’re ineligible for.
Try changing the language to English or French. Perhaps the system doesn’t have a Dutch translation for the error message.
At least then you know why you cannot change it.
Engie just let me lower it, I’d suggest trying again!
Its the same on luminus
Hoe zoude zelf zijn als programmeur 😅 je zie het bedrijf winst maken tegen de sterren op, maar opslag zit er niet in, want inflatie is 10% 😂 dan maar quiet quitte doen.
I actually contacted them 2 weeks ago to change our voorschot and asked them to set it to x for electricity and x for gas.. lady working support told me we’re not meant to set these ourselves and just choose a total voorschotbedrag, but she’ll do it just this once just like it’s some sort of kindness to allow me to choose how much I’d like to prepay for my services.
I lowered it with them when they suggested another increase of €20 when I put in the counters not even a month after the last time. Seems like they’re just always pushing for more. But its doable.
Its just a bug. Try chat or call if you can reach them. This really isn’t on purpose. You should know what a spaghetti fest the suppliers’ systems are
I’m with engie too, but I was wondering if there is any company that lets me pay just my actual use?
It took me at least 5 attempts before I could change it… the performance of the site is really bad…
Say you did some renovations so you’re expecting to consume significantly less, that did the trick for me.
Just a bug man. Changed it literally 2 days ago.
Their page for seeing the average usage chart keeps crashing on me as well. If I was into conspiracies I would feel like this is related.
