I distinctly remember commenting here, saying something like “that seems like an argument that they wouldn’t invade, since it seems like it’d be really counterproductive if you’re trying to occupy a country to be putting media like that out”.
It’s absolutely insane. Russian state media blatantly stating that Ukrainian children should be drowned or burned alive if they deny that they’re Russian.

They also admit that Ukrainians who “speak Russian and have Russian surnames” are the most anti-Russian. This goes straight against their “Russian-speaking Ukrainians are oppressed and Russia is saving them” narrative.

I mean, I get that this is yet another occasion to call for RT’s ban, but it’s not like this hasn’t been known for heck knows how many years.
Isn’t that the same RT director of broadcasting that did a show and said that Ukrainians were animals back shortly before the invasion this year?
