In a message later that day, Satan strongly objected to any attempt by Russia to annex Hell. “The eternally damned are not going to give up their right to never ending torture and suffering for the truly horrible alternative of being Russian citizens under Vladimir Putin’s rule,” he said, adding that “while we have abandoned all hope, we have not abandoned our self-respect”.
Nevertheless, the spokesperson for the Devil did admit that a new special place in Hell had been set aside for Putin himself, but wouldn’t go into details claiming that it was supposed to be “a surprise”.
Should or will?
I do not think he will do so willingly.
We need to convince him…
Anyone remember that Bugs Bunny episode where the mad Professor invents a “portable hole”? In the end he drops his own (always complaining) wife into it and a few seconds later the devil brings her up again with the words “Anyone but her …”
That’s what I envision the devil’s reaction to Putin “going to hell”. 😉
