I am not convinced watching a fire on the TV helps a lot with the heat or electricity bill.

Great. You can also save all the food costs by watching cooking programs!
I love the season two! It gets HOT!
The Norwegian Slow TV thing dropped on U.S. Netflix at such a stressful time in my life. It was so perfect. Firewood Evening was my jam.
How about deactivating the cables connecting the grid to Germany and (if not now, soon) to the UK? Norway generates more that enough electricity to keep the prices low and stable, but the recent connections to the rest of central Europe have resulted in an exponential increase of prices (to the point that many Norwegian families will not be able to afford keeping their houses warm during the winter).
In any case, the grid operators should be more heavily regulated, because this is not a sustainable model (and I suspect someone is manipulating the situation to not only generate a lot of money, but also to gain political power by abusing the poorest of us).
For those who didn’t get the joke and are either Karens or of low intelligence, the prices of electricity has increased to inhumane levels and prices of wood have also increased by many folds…
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM DOING RIGHT NOW!
PLACEBO EFFECT!!
You’re not Norwegian if you haven’t done this at least once
How is the prices for Nordland? Nobody knows it?
