Antique 1930’s Journals, can anyone translate this? and comment briefly what these journals are talking about

2. Recipes, not only recipes of puddings. In the second image, book on bottom left says Obuolių pyragas. It means apple pie. The other book on the very same page says Buljonas, which means stock/broth.

3. Titles of both books says Burbulytės cooking notes.

4. You need doctors to decipher this one!

5. Does not seem like only recipes. Some personal poetry too. On the 3rd picture it says:

   Tavo gyvenimas bus man..

   Kai paklysiu kada, – tave atr..

   Tavo paveikslas – bus mano..

   1935 12d. II men.

   Tavo

   Birutė

   Burbu..

   Rough translation:

   Life of yours will be min..

   Then I get lost,- yours (most likely going to say “I will find you)..

   Your picture-will be mine..

   1935, day 12, II (second) month.

   Yours,

   Birutė (first name)

   Burbu.. (last name)

7. super cool thank you everyone for helping translate these journals! they sound really cool I think it will be worth my effort to get them translated, so many pages in the books!

8. Yeah, these are mostly recipes but there are also some personal notes – that’s a really cool find! The handwriting reminds me of my own lol. Would definitely be interested in flipping through those!
